Dad update

zoanthropicFirst off, want to thank everyone who posted and kept my dad in their thoughts. Your support is awesome. I LOVE YOU GUYS!
Now to the news:
Dad came home yesterday, feeling a little weak, as expected. The doctor put him on a low fat, low sodium diet. (Also not unexpected) And alas, my hopes for non-invasive surgery are gone. He will be undergoing triple bypass surgery on September 15th. They want to make sure that the artery that runs along the heart into the right valves does not get compromised in any way. Chances of survival if that artery is blocked are practically zero.
Very scary thought.
But he is home, for which we are all very glad. Thank you all again for your support.
