I just finished listening to The Quidditch Pitch's final podcast with simons_flower.

So many memories and so much emotion. Laughter... sadness... joy... tears...

Still hard to believe she is gone. But in a way... she's not. Good memories will always make her alive to us.

This week has been one of the most difficult to deal with. Having to deal with Dad going back into the hospital, then hearing about simons_flower's passing has been almost too much to deal with. Knowing that Dad will be having triple bypass surgery on Wednesday has me on edge, as you can imagine.

But the support of family and friends has been wonderful. I truly thank you all, and I don't know how I would manage without you. That support has led me to lend support to a couple of old friends and reconnect with them. madam_minnie and tqpannie have been dealing as best as they can with the loss of a truly great friend... their soul sister. And while our friendship may not be the way it was in the past, I will still offer my support to them and be here for them as much as I can. After all... what are friends for?
